Marvallure – a combination of the words “marvelous” and “allure” – is the newest addition to the South Lake Avenue fashion scene. This shop is tucked in the Burlingame Arcade and offers a curated selection of wardrobe staples like dresses, handbags and jewelry for fashionable ladies.

“I want to bring a variety of styles to Pasadena,” said Asmi Rawal, the owner of Marvallure.

Asmi Rawal founded Marvallure in December 2016 to express her lifelong love of fashion. She describes designing clothes while growing up in Kathmandu, Nepal, then travelling to Boston, London, Stuttgart and Kathmandu for work before enrolling in and graduating from FIDM in Los Angeles.

Rawal sells a curated collection of internationally acquired clothing, handbags and jewelry as well as her own line of cashmere ponchos and wraps produced in Nepal. In the spring, she will launch her own label, Asmi, which will feature 100% silk and bright colored dresses, tops and pants.

Marvallure features clothing ideal for the working woman and includes a small selection of eveningwear. She is currently the only West Coast retailer of Julie Brown, a dressmaker from New York, and also stocks Italian leather handbags.

In addition to designing clothes, Rawal is a personal stylist and looks forward to helping women express their style.

“I love to make women look beautiful and feel confident,” she said.

Marvallure is located at 350 South Lake Avenue, #113. Call (626) 639-3100 or visit https://marvallure.com/ for more information.
