Cancer Support Community Pasadena will be sponsoring its second Annual Holiday Boutique and Luncheon on Friday, November 18, at a private club in Pasadena.

CSC Pasadena will have actress and author Annabelle Gurwitch as Guest Speaker during the luncheon.

Gurwitch is best known as the original hostess of TBS’s “Dinner and a Movie.” She is also a noted author and columnist and was most recently the host of “Wa$ted!” on Planet Green.

Gurwitch is currently a spokesperson for the Do Not Mail Registry sponsored by the NGO Forest Ethics and a member of the advisory board of United Professionals, an organization founded by Barbara Ehrenreich. She also donates considerable time to the National Wildlife Federation.

Cancer Support Community Pasadena, formerly known as The Wellness Community founded by Dr. Harold Benjamin in 1982, is an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing free support, cancer education and hope. The group’s mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.

Through participation in professionally-led support groups, educational workshops, nutrition and exercise programs, and stress-reduction classes, cancer patients and their loved ones can learn vital skills that enable them to regain control, reduce isolation and restore hope.

CSC Pasadena’s Annual Holiday Boutique and Luncheon also features great shopping and fabulous food.

Tickets for the event are $80. To purchase tickets, visit CSC Pasadena’s website, http://www.cscpasadena.org/.
